Operational Due Diligence Role

Mason Blake is seeking an experienced Operational Due Diligence Specialist to deliver operational due diligence and risk reviews on external investment funds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough operational due diligence on new and existing managers to support the investment committee's decision-making process
  • Evaluate operational and structural risks within a firm to ensure compliance and mitigate potential threats
  • Assess greenwashing risks and compile comprehensive reports for the wider team
  • Monitor existing investments and assist in anti-money laundering (AML) due diligence requests to maintain regulatory compliance
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes to ensure the firm remains compliant
Candidate Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in the asset management industry, including operational due diligence, fund audit, or operational risk experience
  • Knowledge of a wide range of asset classes and investment strategies
  • Strong Excel skills and programming experience in Python or VBA
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate effective collaboration and relationship building
  • A self-starter with excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver outputs in a timely manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
