Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Environmental Engineer to join our team at Thames Water. As a key member of our environmental engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in achieving our ambitious sustainability goals and driving environmental impact reduction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical input into project definition briefs and ensure compliance with engineering-based regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the establishment of a 'Centre of Excellence' for engineering and support the development of a cohesive, sustainable engineering structure.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to drive environmental impact reduction and green solutions implementation.

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification in engineering or a related field.
  • Professional chartership and extensive experience in environmental engineering, carbon strategy, and nature-based solutions.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with colleagues.
