Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our team in Surrey. This is a permanent full-time position with a salary of up to £47,681 per annum.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a complex caseload of individuals, children, carers, and families who require support and guidance. They will demonstrate confident and effective judgement about risk and accountability in decision-making and sustain engagement with fluctuating circumstances and capacities.

  • This role requires the ability to use professional judgement, employing a range of interventions: promoting independence, providing support and protection, taking preventative action and ensuring safety whilst balancing rights and risks.
  • The ideal candidate will take the lead in managing positive interventions that prevent deterioration in health and wellbeing whilst safeguarding people at risk of abuse or neglect.
  • They will undertake assessment and planning for safeguarding in more complex cases, and support colleagues by utilising safeguarding skills, in line with current policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A social Work Qualification or equivalent.
  • Continual professional development.
  • Social Work England registered.
  • Experience within Adult Social Work.
