About the Position

We are looking for a Nurse Assessment Coordinator to join our team at Opal HealthCare.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity for 3 days a week, working Monday to Friday in office hours.

As a Nurse Assessment Coordinator, you will provide support to the General Manager (GM) and Regional Care Assessment Consultants (RCAC) in the creation and storage of accurate ACFI appraisals.

You will lead the assessment of residents and deliver education initiatives to team members on optimal application of the ACFI.

The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000 - $105,000 based on your experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership in the assessment of residents
  • Deliver education initiatives to team members
  • Support the GM and RCAC in the creation and storage of ACFI appraisals
  • Demonstrate behaviours that support Opal HealthCare's values

About You:

  • Current Practising Registration as a Nurse with AHPRA for at least 2 years
  • Additional certifications in relation to ACFI or Quality activity highly desirable
  • Demonstrated accurate ACFI documentation and monthly reporting
  • Experience managing ACFI activities including assessments, collating answer appraisal and successful submission of claims to Medicare
