Job Title: Clinical Director of Public Health

Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director of Public Health to lead our 0-19 Children's Services. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of our services and ensuring they meet the needs of our local population.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction for the development of clinical services and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient pathways across the Trust.
  • Lead the directorate to ensure all contacts in the 0-19 service maximise health improvement opportunities and reduce inequalities in health outcomes.
  • Provide specialist public health, clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient safety advice to the Trust and Community and Children's Boards and staff.
  • Develop and implement a business plan that incorporates quality and efficiency targets and supports the overarching strategy of the Directorate for 0-19 Services.
