MSK Physiotherapy Team Lead and Clinical Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 team lead and clinical specialist physiotherapist to join our South Powys Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy team.
You will have the opportunity to work with the Musculoskeletal Consultant Physiotherapist, Clinical Specialist Physiotherapists, Orthopaedic Consultants, GPs, and other health professionals working in the MSK pathway across South Powys.
Main Duties of the Job- Line management of the South Powys MSK Physiotherapy team, including managing ESR, expenses, appraisals, and performance management of staff, as required.
- Liaising with the Head of Physiotherapy, service improvement manager, and admin team lead to support waiting list management.
- Work as an autonomous practitioner managing a MSK caseload, including more complex cases as required.
- Work collaboratively with other professions, including GPs, Consultants, Nurses, and other AHPs, to provide expert patient-centred musculoskeletal care.
- Provide training, education, supervision, and appraisal for staff and students.
- Contribute to the development of professional practice and the transformation and evaluation of service delivery.
- Support the research and innovation agenda through participating in research and development activity.
- Lead aspects of service evaluation with an emphasis on value-based care and audit.
- Work in partnership with service users and staff to achieve improved health outcomes for service users and develop clinical pathways.
