We are seeking experienced and compassionate individuals to join our team as Casual Children's Residential Practitioners. As a key member of our residential team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized care and support to children and young people with complex needs, including those with sensory, ASD, and mental health needs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a joined-up service centered on the child.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with children and young people, being a positive role model and promoting their well-being.
- Apply evidence-based therapeutic and behavioral management approaches and practice models to support children and young people.
- Engage in the running of the home, including activities, meals, personal care, and recording.
- Undertake mandatory staff training, attend staff meetings, and formal supervision sessions.
- Provide and promote a safe, stimulating, and nurturing physical environment.
