We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Physician in General Medicine to join our team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading clinical services, and contributing to the development of our General Medicine department.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the care of inpatients on a General Internal Medicine/Specialty ward
- Develop standards, procedures, and systems to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient patient care
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver acute medical care to patients
- Develop clinical guidelines to ensure best practice for the management of a wide range of medical conditions
- Participate in relevant audit and quality assurance processes
- Teach and train junior doctors, Physician Associates, and students
- Contribute to the administration of the department and the management of resources
- MBBS or equivalent
- MRCP (Paces)
- Licence to practice and full registration with GMC
- Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register, or within 6 months of completion of CCT at time of interview
- Advanced Life Support
- Eligible to work in the UK
