We are seeking a results-focused Production Planner to join our team based at our site in Hampshire, UK on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and issue production plans to meet customer requirements using MRP and collaborate with manufacturing stakeholders.
  • Review the 5-day forecast and plan production with support from the manufacturing team to achieve maximum line efficiency.
  • Release work orders to the manufacturing area, ensuring required documentation and system transactions are executed to allocate, purchase, internally manufacture or reschedule material as needed.
  • Update past due and OTD plant trackers daily.
  • Plan capacity of the manufacturing area against the order book.
  • Map out and plan inventory of the manufacturing area, analyzing data to determine opportunities to decrease inventory, improve customer service levels, and reduce total costs through regular review of inventory planning parameters including Min & Max values, Kanbans, reorder points, and lot sizes.
  • Participate in calls and escalation meetings with customer representatives on behalf of the manufacturing area.
  • Maintain accuracy and validity of item master and related planning data in the ERP system through regular reviews of order policies, safety stock levels, make/buy indicators, and lead-times.
