Job Title: Advanced Physiotherapist - Cardiothoracic Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Physiotherapist to join our Cardiothoracic team. As a specialist in cardiac rehabilitation, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with complex physical conditions.

About the Role
  • Work as an autonomous practitioner, providing specialist clinical duties in a defined clinical area.
  • Deliver physiotherapy services to patients with multi-pathology and complex needs, using evidence-based patient-centered principles.
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to physiotherapists, students, and non-registered staff.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions for patients with complex physical conditions.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification in Physiotherapy.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Specialist training/courses to Postgraduate Diploma level.
  • CSP membership.
Desirable Skills
  • Highly developed physical skills relevant to Cardio-Thoracic surgery and Cardiology.
  • Excellent communication skills with healthcare professionals and the public.
  • Adaptive/flexible team player.
