Senior/Principal and Associate Level Engineering Geologist/Geotechnical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Principal and/or Associate Level Engineering Geologist/Geotechnical Engineer to join our London office. The successful candidate will play a key role in the team, responsible for the continued development of junior staff, client base, and management of geo-environmental workload across the south.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver robust, technically sound, and cost-effective solutions to clients across a range of sectors, including road and rail, industrial, residential, commercial, and leisure developments.
  • Develop and expand skill sets in project management and development of junior staff, and deliver projects within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide technically sound and commercially focused proposals and reports, and develop good working relationships with other professionals within wider project teams.
  • Have a thorough understanding of contaminated land legislation and planning regime, and be able to interpret and review Preliminary Risk Assessments and Intrusive Ground investigations.
  • Prepare, review, and/or authorise competent Ground Investigation Reports and Geotechnical Design Reports.
Requirements
  • A good degree in Earth Sciences, Geology, or Civil Engineering is required, with an MSc in Geotechnics or Engineering Geology or a related subject being beneficial.
  • Chartered or near chartered status is expected, with PTS training being a bonus.
