Job Title: Senior Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at AKT II. As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the specialist geotechnical engineering aspects of design projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Technical Director and assist with checking and leading projects within the Geotechnical Team.
  • Supervise and train design engineers in the field of Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Attend project meetings and liaise with the structural design team and other disciplines.
  • Produce and supervise detailed designs and specifications to meet design and construction programmes.
  • Coordinate geotechnical design and detailing work appropriate to the project.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Engineer, CEng MICE or working towards.
  • Experience in producing specifications for site investigation works and testing.
  • Experience in producing geotechnical and geoenvironmental interpretative reports.
  • Sound knowledge of geotechnical analysis and design methods.
  • Experience incorporating soil-structure interaction within geotechnical analysis.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of relevant design and analysis programmes.
