About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance and Compliance Expert to join our team at Bowerford Associates on a permanent, full-time basis.

The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with approximately 2-3 days spent in our Exeter office per week during the probation period. Once completed, this will reduce to circa 2 days per month. Occasional office visits may be required for specific business needs such as annual audits.

Job Description
  • As the driving force behind our impeccable standards, you will contribute to enhancing patient safety, quality, and healthcare outcomes through expert software solutions and services.
  • You will ensure our compliance with Information Governance, Quality Standards, and Legal Frameworks by reviewing, processing, and monitoring ISO 13485/ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 14001/ISO 14001:2016 compliance.
  • Coordination of departments to raise and address any compliance or quality matters is also an essential aspect of the role.
  • You will develop robust solutions to support regulatory compliance, create compliant documentation for new products, and monitor changes in relevant regulations.
  • Internal audits on ISO 13485/ISO 13485:2016, ISO 14001/ISO 14001:2016, information governance policies, and processes will be undertaken to identify inconsistencies and improvements to enhance processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

For this position, we require:

  • A strong background in Quality Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 13485:2016, ISO 14001, and ISO 14001:2016 standards.
  • Proven experience in ensuring regulatory compliance and creating compliant documentation.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with various departments.
