We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 teacher to join our vibrant and fun primary school in Suffolk.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to delivering high-quality education to our pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pastoral care and support to pupils in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork and a conducive learning environment.
  • Teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children, focusing on individual learning targets and encouraging strengths and improvement.
  • Develop maths ability and introduce fractions, statistics, and geometry to pupils.
  • Help children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories.
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress to parents.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2.
  • Ability to commute to Suffolk via public transport.
  • Confidence to hit the ground running, proactively lead a class, and manage behaviour in line with school behaviour policies.
