We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Technical Director to join our Financial Lines Technical Claims team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing corporate client relationships and dealing with Financial Lines claims in a rapidly growing area.
About the Role:
The Claims Technical Director will be responsible for facilitating the delivery of our corporate claims philosophy and standards, as well as best practice, while helping to achieve financial results within the team. This is a key role that requires a commercial approach, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build great relationships with colleagues, clients, and the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage high-value and complex claims in London Market PI, with a focus on quality assurance, fraud, and impacting legislation.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve claims handling and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with the Technical Lead to achieve financial results and improve team performance.
- Coach and mentor others in the team to develop their skills and expertise.
What We Offer:
- Starting salary up to £77,900 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
- Bonus opportunity – 10% of annual salary - Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's.
