About the Role

Howden Group Holdings is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Divisional Director to lead our Care and Bioscience/Clinical Trials claims teams in London and Milton Keynes. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality claims services to our clients, driving business growth, and contributing to the development of our strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational plans to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Provide expert-level technical oversight of high-exposure claims, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Lead and manage a team of claims professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure their success.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for business growth and development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices to ensure compliance and excellence in claims management.

Requirements
  • Extensive experience in claims management, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
