Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Support Specialist to join our team at the Northwestern Community Services Board. As a Family Support Specialist, you will work closely with families who have children with complex emotional or behavioral health needs. Your primary responsibility will be to provide family support services, connecting families with resources and opportunities that can help them navigate the complexities of multiple service systems.

Estimated Salary:

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

Your role will involve working with families to identify their unique needs and strengths, and developing personalized plans to support them in achieving their goals. This may include providing emotional support, sharing knowledge, and connecting families with community resources such as counseling services, support groups, and educational programs. You will also work to enhance the independence of the family and facilitate connections within the community.

Requirements:
  • A combination of training and experience indicating ability to effectively perform essential job functions.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License, good driving record, and the ability to provide own transportation.
