Job Title: Forest Positive Solution Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forest Positive Solution Manager to join our team at AL-AGEDI RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to monitor supply chain impacts on forests and ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy Development: Create and update strategies for monitoring supply chain impacts on forests and ecosystems, ensuring alignment with our company's sustainability goals.
  • External Partner Coordination: Manage relationships with external partners involved in forest and ecosystem solutions, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with relationship managers to drive business development, identifying new opportunities for sustainable solutions.
  • Workflow Monitoring: Communicate needs to global data teams and monitor solution workflows, ensuring seamless execution of projects.
  • Financial Management: Track income, manage contracts, monitor expenses, and produce financial reports, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Product Development and Quality Control: Improve and maintain solution products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.
  • Industry Engagement: Participate in relevant industry working groups and events, staying up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices.
  • Impact Communication: Create internal and external communications to showcase solution impact, highlighting the positive effects on forests and ecosystems.
Requirements:
  • Ideal Profile: We are looking for a passionate problem-solver with a genuine interest in forests, agriculture, family farming, and social education. You should have a strong analytical and methodological mindset, with a commitment to enabling informed decisions.
  • Working Conditions: A minimum of 10 years of experience in product development, exposure to government, private sector, supply chains, and/or regulations is required. Fluency in English and French (written and spoken) is essential, as is citizenship or valid work authorization in the country. Travel within Europe (France, UK, Switzerland) up to 10% of the time is required for this role.
