About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CAMHS Specialist Mental Health Practitioner to join our dynamic and innovative Community CAMHS team in Nottingham. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing mental health assessments and interventions to children and young people with a wide range of emotional and mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct mental health assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans
  • Build therapeutic relationships with children and young people and deliver interventions, including group work
  • Manage a caseload and provide care coordination
  • Liaise with other agencies and professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Participate in the CAMHS Single Point of Access (SPA) and enquiries rota
  • Contribute to the development of the service and participate in quality improvement initiatives
