Job Overview:

This role is responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and oversight to Q:alliance, ensuring the organisation operates within its financial policies and legal requirements. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in financial management and a deep understanding of charity finance and governance in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organisation's purpose and charitable objects
  • Provide financial guidance and recommendations to support effective decision-making
  • Collaborate with the Board on financial planning and budgeting

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and financial reporting
  • Knowledge of charity finance and governance in the UK is preferred
