Creative Support is a national not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing person-centred care services for older adults and individuals with diverse needs.

We are seeking a Relief Support Worker to join our team in Normanton, Wakefield, to provide extra care support to older adults in their homes. As a Relief Support Worker, you will work closely with service users to promote healthy living, independence, and social engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide respectful personal care and emotional support to service users
  • Work collaboratively with service users to ensure they retain their independence and autonomy
  • Advise and support service users in managing their tenancy, maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment
  • Support service users in accessing social and leisure activities, promoting their overall well-being
  • Develop and sustain warm, trusting relationships with service users, families, and carers
  • Collaborate with professionals to ensure a coordinated and effective service delivery

This is a Relief Support Worker position, offering flexibility to pick up shifts at a time that suits you. Previous experience in a care role is essential, and successful applicants must attend mandatory induction training courses.

As a Creative Support Bank Staff member, you will have access to our free app, allowing you to pick up shifts in various locations and providing information on services and shifts. You will be paid weekly.
