Adult Crisis Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Crisis Worker in Humberside. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a growing and innovative service provider within Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARCs).
As a Crisis Worker, you will play a critical role in providing victims of sexual assault with the support and care they need. You will act as an advocate for patients, empowering them to feel in control and supported throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities- Provide initial support and guidance to service users and their families.
- Assist with the preparation and collection of forensic evidence.
- Maintain a high standard of DNA contamination control.
- Liaise with other agencies to manage service user pathways.
- Support patients and act as an advocate during their time at the SARC.
- IT skills and basic administration experience.
- Experience working in a supportive or customer-focused environment.
- Kind and caring nature.
- Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality.
- Advanced DBS and level 2 Police vetting required.
