About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Crisis Worker to join our team at Mountain Healthcare. As a Crisis Worker, you will play a critical role in providing victims of sexual assault with the support and care they need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for service users, providing a safe and non-judgmental space for them to share their experiences.
  • Support service users and their families throughout their visit to the centre, including preparing them for forensic examinations and assisting with the collection of evidence.
  • Maintain a high standard of DNA contamination control between forensic cases.
  • Liaise with other agencies to ensure seamless management of service user pathways.
  • Act as an advocate for service users, empowering them to take control of their care and support.

Essential Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent IT skills and basic administration experience.
  • Experience working in a supportive or customer-focused environment.
  • A kind and caring nature.
  • Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality.
  • A UK driving license and access to a vehicle for occasional travel across SARC locations.
  • Advanced DBS and level 2 Police vetting.
