About the Job DescriptionThis role involves working with community groups, charities, and other organizations to deliver informative presentations and promote the work of RNID.
As a Community Volunteer, you will be responsible for setting up information stands, responding to queries, and monitoring event attendance.
- Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Confidence in delivering online presentations and engaging with diverse groups.
- Willingness to learn about or expand knowledge of issues affecting deaf and hard of hearing people.
As a volunteer with RNID, you will gain valuable experience, develop new skills, and make a positive impact on the lives of others.
**We offer:**
- Reasonable out-of-pocket expenses and pre-approved travel costs.
- An estimated salary of £12.50 - £15 per hour, depending on location and experience.
- The opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of deaf people and those with hearing loss or tinnitus.
