Job Title: Renewable Energy Infrastructure Technician

We are seeking a skilled Renewable Energy Infrastructure Technician to join our team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the production of design packages for concept, tender, and detailed design phases of renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the production of design packages for concept, tender, and detailed design phases of renewable energy projects.
  • Design and develop infrastructure access solutions for wind, transmission, and other renewable energy project infrastructure.
  • Conduct site layout and route options for concept design for planning approval and environmental impact assessment purposes.
  • Develop bridge and retaining structure geometry considering structural form and flooding levels and coordinate geotechnical and structural design.
  • Assist in the preparation of tender submission packages, including multi-disciplinary design statements and presentation drawings.
  • Compile as-built drawings and records.
  • Participate in client project meetings and be the point of contact for selected work packages.
Requirements:
  • HND or HNC in Civil Engineering or similar qualification.
  • BTEC (equivalent or better) Certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering or other recognised discipline or working towards qualification.
  • Relevant work experience as a Junior Technician or equivalent post.
  • Knowledge and competence in the use of Auto Cad and other relevant software packages.
