Wood is seeking a highly skilled Principal Renewable Energy Consultant to join its Wind Advisory Services team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of renewable energy.

About the Role

As a Principal Renewable Energy Consultant, you will be responsible for project managing a portfolio of due diligence assignments, assessing renewable energy projects on behalf of our clients. You will work closely with multi-discipline teams to produce professional and detailed reports that meet our clients' requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project manage due diligence assignments for renewable energy projects
  • Assess renewable energy projects on behalf of clients
  • Work closely with multi-discipline teams to produce reports
  • Develop strong relationships with clients to ensure successful project outcomes

Requirements

  • Education to degree level in engineering, law, finance, or a related subject
  • Demonstrable project management experience
  • Understanding of technical aspects of renewable energy infrastructure projects
  • Good communication skills
  • Demonstrably strong report writing skills

Desirable

  • Understanding of commercial aspects of renewable energy infrastructure projects
  • Understanding of risk categorisation and mitigation
  • Demonstrable team management experience
  • Ability to speak a second language
