The Role

We are seeking a HSQE Advisor to provide consistent and relevant support and guidance in relation to health, safety, quality, and environmental (HSQE) matters to all RES business units based in the UK and Ireland.

The successful candidate will report to the HSQE Manager to ensure that the HSQE performance of RES reflects good industry practice and complies with relevant legislation, guidance, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HSQE advice to business units
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSQE policies, procedures, and systems in line with the company's objectives and legal requirements
  • Analyse HSQE trends identified through incidents, audit, and inspections and present findings and recommendations to business units
  • Undertake regular site HSQE visits, varying depending on the risks or emergent issues
  • Engage in a positive and collaborative manner with contractor partners, clients, and any other relevant stakeholders
  • Support the business in setting out competency requirements and to help develop training programmes
Requirements
  • Able to make sound and timely decisions based on relevant information, analysis, and judgement
  • Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with various stakeholders, such as regulators, clients, contractors, and suppliers, as well as to build rapport, trust, and collaboration within and across teams
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience applying, implementing, and developing of Quality, Health and Safety, and/or Environment management systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HSQE software tools
  • Physically able to work on construction and operational sites (including climbing wind turbines subject to completing training)
  • Full Driving License that allows driving in the UK and Ireland
