About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and supporting junior members of staff, delivering high-quality care and experiences for patients, and promoting best evidence-based practice within the theatre environment. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with colleagues across the hospital to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, support, and develop junior members of staff, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure they reach their full potential.
- Deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring that all treatments are clinically effective, evidence-based, and tailored to individual needs.
- Work collaboratively with the theatre team to maintain a smooth and efficient operating environment.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient outcomes and the overall quality of care.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the theatre department.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in theatre practice, preferably with experience in anesthetics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- A passion for delivering high standards of care and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and situations.
- Able to engage with colleagues at all levels across the hospital and contribute appropriately to achieving hospital goals within a multi-disciplinary team.
