Domestic Support Specialist

As a Cleanliness and Hygiene Coordinator at Belong, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort within our village facilities and households. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the delivery of domestic services that align with the core values of Belong and organisational requirements.
About the Role:- You will be responsible for responding to individual customer needs for domestic support to enable them to maintain their household accommodation.
- Assist the team by responding to requests for assistance with housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and laundry.
The rate of pay for this role is £12 per hour, which translates to an estimated annual salary of around £24,960 based on 20 hours of work per week.
Working Hours:This is a part-time post requiring 20 hours of work per week.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort within our village facilities and households.
- Deliver domestic services that align with the core values of Belong and organisational requirements.
- Respond to individual customer needs for domestic support to enable them to maintain their household accommodation.
- Assist the team by responding to requests for assistance with housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and laundry.
- Demonstrate qualities that align with Belong's vision and values.
- Communicate clearly and maintain a professional manner.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet customer needs and achieve team goals.
- Prioritise tasks and complete them to the required standard and in a timely manner.
- Ability to undertake moving & handling of loads using specialist equipment.
- Able to complete housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and laundry.
- Able to complete written work records.
- Good customer care focus with a desire to serve others.
- Awareness of Health and Safety requirements and ability to follow product safety advice sheets and procedures.
- Reliable and able to fulfill contracted hours and work patterns.
- Diploma/NVQ 2 in Cleaning & Building Interiors or equivalent (Essential or working towards).
- Experience in previous commercial or domestic cleaning.
