Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Unit Advisor to join our team at OFGEM. As a key member of our Delivery Unit, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of energy regulation and contributing to our mission of promoting cleaner, more sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality analysis and research to support the delivery of priority projects, including coordination across the Delivery Unit, tracking of activities and actions agreed, scheduling meetings, and writing update reports.
  • Develop effective working relationships and networks with internal stakeholders, including setting up meetings and providing secretariat support.
  • Support the smooth transition of Delivery Unit work, including preparing handover materials and documenting lessons learned exercises.
  • Conduct high-quality, well-structured analysis and research, and present insights and key findings to stakeholders.
  • Draft clear and concise documents, including briefings, policy documents, presentations, and reports.
Essential Criteria
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple and concurrent priorities.
  • Strong analysis and research skills, with excellent ability to analyse quantitative and qualitative information, identify issues, synthesise diverse sources and intelligence, and develop options and recommendations on a wide range of issues.
  • Stakeholder engagement: a track record of building collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders, engaging and influencing to secure desired outcomes.
  • Communications: excellent ability to communicate effectively to a range of internal and external audiences, both in writing and in presentations, and to convey complex issues clearly and concisely.
