Financial Controller Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced SME Accountant to join our team at Trinity House Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for implementing finance processes and systems, ensuring timely and accurate monthly management accounts, and producing weekly KPI reports to provide business visibility of margin analysis and production output.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Completion of timely and accurate monthly management accounts
  • Produce weekly KPI reports to give business visibility of margin analysis and production output
  • Cost analysis to identify key variances and trends
  • Compile annual budgets and forecasts ensuring financial delivery of the strategic plan
  • Identify improvements within finance systems and implement new process and procedures for best practice, driving business intelligence and efficiencies
  • Lead the annual audit process
  • Oversee the accuracy of all ledgers including robust balance sheet reconciliations and control

As a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant, you will have excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail with a strong methodical approach to creating and reporting data. You will also have experience overseeing management accounts, business reporting and financial operations, and commercial acumen, ideally within an SME environment.

This is an on-site role, with flexible working hours, and offers a salary of £70,000 - £80,000, with the opportunity to work with a market-leading, growing brand with a positive and down-to-earth culture.
