Job Title: Claims Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Claims Specialist to join our team at Lime Micromobility in London.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations into accidents and property damage claims involving Lime vehicles, ensuring prompt and fair resolutions. They will also deliver empathetic and efficient communication to claimants, guiding them through the process with clear information on procedures, documentation, and status updates via email and phone.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct investigations into accidents and property damage claims, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records.
  • Deliver empathetic and efficient communication to claimants, providing clear information on procedures and status updates.
  • Leverage our claims management system for tracking, resolving claims, and using data analytics to inform decisions.
  • Assess claim validity and liability, authorize compensation or denial in alignment with company policies and legal guidelines, and negotiate settlements when necessary.
  • Develop strategies to reduce claims frequency and severity, working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to streamline the claims process.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in property & casualty claims handling, with a deep understanding of the US market and international exposure.
  • Knowledge of property damage, physical injuries, medical terminology, treatment protocols, and wage loss claims processes.
  • Experience working with third-party administrators and internal and external legal teams in a high-volume, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work across several time zones, with proficiency in English.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of precisely managing multiple claims and meeting tight deadlines.
Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
