Corporate Tax Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join our team at Mellis Blue Accountancy Recruitment.

This role will be ideal for a professional who thrives in a challenging environment, is focused on delivering results, and has a strong work ethic.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Corporate/Business tax clients and collaborating with Partners on ad-hoc tax projects. They will also be expected to perform accounts work as the portfolio grows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Audit Corporate Tax reviews for all audit clients
  • Develop expertise in R&D tax credits and become the firm's specialist in due course, supporting clients with their ongoing needs
  • Provide Corporate Tax restructuring and Tax due diligence services to support Partners and clients on an ad-hoc basis
  • Assist with the preparation of Research and Development Tax Credit claims
  • Identify planning and advisory opportunities
  • Respond to ad-hoc queries from the wider firm when required
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • ATT/CTA qualified or working towards
  • Corporate/Business tax compliance experience
  • Some advisory knowledge and experience in identifying advisory opportunities and developing business
  • Excellent communication skills, providing clients with an outstanding level of customer service
