We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Audit and Accounts Senior to join our thriving team in Gerrards Cross. As a key member of our audit and accounts team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio, leading audit assignments from planning to completion, and ensuring all work is completed on-time and in-budget.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audit and accounts, with previous experience in the preparation of statutory accounts and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Sage, Xero, and other accounting software. You will be a hands-on team player who can also work autonomously, with a drive to progress within the firm.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a varied portfolio, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
  • Leading audit assignments from planning to completion, championing compliance at every step
  • Overseeing specialist and complex audits, including SAR, ATOL, pensions, and charities
  • Preparing company accounts and corporation tax computations
  • Providing support with ad-hoc assignments, including due diligence and systems reviews
  • Building strong relationships with clients, proactively handling queries and acting as their go-to advisor
  • Aiding the professional development of juniors, delivering training and reviewing work
  • Supporting Directors and Partners by undertaking ad-hoc work where required
  • Researching and interpreting changes to audit and accounting regulations
  • Championing your own professional development, regularly undertaking training opportunities
