About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team and support a small group of Year 3 children in a primary school. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment. This is a long-term supply position commencing in November.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students in the class under the direction of the class teacher.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized classroom with accessible resources.
  • Collaborate with other members of staff in the classroom and school.
  • Support students on a whole class, small group, and one-to-one basis.
  • Comply with the school's policies and implement effectively.

Requirements:
  • Recent experience as an SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant in a primary school.
  • SEND experience is desirable.

The salary for this position is estimated at around £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
