Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team at a SEMH School in Enfield. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils aged 5-16 with SEMH needs, helping them to develop and thrive in their education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with social communication needs, including those with Autism
  • Aiding students with their curriculum work and promoting their development into further education
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students

About the School:

Our SEMH School is a small, supportive environment that caters to a total of 70 pupils. We have a Good Ofsted rating and are committed to providing a high-quality education for all our students.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs, particularly those with Autism
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
