About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at St Olaf Care Home in Nairn, Highland. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their wellbeing and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred care and support to residents, adhering to their individual care plans.
  • Assist in creating a welcoming and caring environment, participating in activities and events that promote residents' wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with care staff and other teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Carry out personal care duties, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
  • Working towards SSSC registration requirements.
  • SVQ level 2 or above/equivalent in Health and Social Care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A kind and caring nature.
