We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at St Olaf Care Home in Nairn, Highland. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their wellbeing and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide person-centred care and support to residents, promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Support residents with their medication, including administering medication and monitoring side effects.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individual care plans, working closely with the care team to ensure residents receive the best possible care.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
- SVQ level 2 or above/equivalent in Health and Social Care (as per SSSC guidelines).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
