Job Role: Teaching Assistant - Casual Basis

Job Summary: We are seeking a flexible teaching assistant to join our school team to work on a casual basis across term time. The successful candidate will provide support to our pupils with complex needs, including sensory processing needs and autism spectrum disorder.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to teaching staff in the classroom
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individualized education plans
  • Support the emotional and social development of pupils
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a teaching or support role is not essential, as full training will be provided
  • Ability to work flexibly across term time
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
