Job Title: Financial Operations Coordinator

A competitive role is available for a skilled Financial Operations Coordinator to join Curo Services in Newcastle Upon Tyne. This 8-month fixed-term contract opportunity involves working with credit control and cash allocation duties, leveraging expertise in data entry, customer service, and time management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and approve invoices in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
  • Communicate with clients via phone, email, and letter to collect outstanding payments, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Monitor customer accounts, identifying concerns over delayed payments and non-payments, and liaising with the business to resolve these issues.
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries, providing excellent customer service.
  • Allocate cash received on the accounting system, adhering to strict deadlines and procedures.
  • Perform CRM credit checks and client data validation to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Assist in managing various AR inboxes, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Contribute to essential weekly reporting, identifying errors and implementing fixes or reporting them as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in accounts receivable or credit control, with a strong understanding of transactional processing and data entry.
  • The ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with a tenacious attitude towards debt collecting and resolving payment problems.
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards Accounting Software (JDE) is beneficial, as is experience working in a finance shared service centre.
  • A strong customer service focus, good communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
