Plant Fitter Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Plant Fitter to join our team at a market-leading company in the hire industry. As a Plant Fitter, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our busy workshop, ensuring the maintenance and repair of construction plant equipment to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair construction plant equipment, including small tools, generators, pumps, diggers, excavators, rollers, telehandlers, and forklifts.
  • Diagnose faults, service, and repair equipment within a workshop environment.
  • Ensure all equipment is repaired efficiently and within agreed time scales, and complete any necessary paperwork.
Requirements:
  • Plant Fitter with NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent in plant maintenance.
  • Previous mechanical plant experience is essential for this role.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Full UK clean driving licence is required.
