Job Overview

BHRUT NHS Trust is a leading teaching hospital, renowned for its excellence in surgical care. As a Consultant in Chronic Pain Management with an interest in Anaesthesia, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will share the caseload, facilities, and trainee grade support with existing consultants. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert pain management services to patients
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement pain management programs
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • MB ChB, MBBS or equivalent qualification
  • Fellowship of the Faculty of Pain Medicine
  • Holder of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or within six months of award of CCT
