We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at Hamilton Mayday. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting with food production and service, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with food production and service, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Comply with all statutory, legislative, and departmental requirements, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet the needs of our clients, including events, weddings, and school banquets.
- Monitor food levels and coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service.
- Take responsibility for the kitchen in the absence of the Head or Sous Chef, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
- Ensure that all aspects of the Food Safety and Allergens Acts are adhered to, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff.
- Provide guidance and training to junior team members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Formal qualifications in culinary arts, such as C&G 1/2 or NVQ 1/2.
- Experience in high-volume catering, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality dishes.
- Flexibility in shift patterns, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings and evenings.
