As a Technical Project Manager at ADP, you will be responsible for leading multiple complex technical projects in agile environments. Your expertise in Scrum and Kanban methodologies will enable you to facilitate and partner with Development, Product Management, and other IT teams to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project processes, deliverables, and communication frameworks, including administration of project collaboration tools.
- Create and maintain project plans, milestones, and schedules, including deliverables across all impacted areas of assigned projects.
- Facilitate the definition, management, and negotiation of project scope and scope change controls between the project team and key business stakeholders.
- Act as Agile coach for new teams and projects, ensuring adherence to Scrum ceremonies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track and resolve project issues, team conflicts, and escalate issues to the appropriate business or IT sponsor.
- Manage project resource budget and address discrepancies between baseline and actual time reporting and expenses.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation plans with the project team and stakeholders.
- Partner with Client Groups to define and maintain product or portfolio-based roadmaps.
Requirements:
- Extensive commercial track record of experience leading and managing multiple complex technical projects in agile environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to different audiences.
- Project and process management skills, including industry-standard project management.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, MS SharePoint, Webex, and MS Office & Project.
- Proven experience dealing with challenging team members and personnel issues.
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to present project updates to small or large groups.
- Change management experience in a software development environment.
Education:
- Degree or equivalent in Computer Sciences or related field.
- PMP certified or equivalent, with a full understanding of product development and release management life cycles.
- Certified Scrum Master, with previous experience running agile project teams.
