About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to join our team at Derbyshire Community Health Services NHSFT. As a key member of our People Services and Organisational Effectiveness Leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering quality through continuous service improvement, shaping organisational culture, improving management and leadership capabilities, and ensuring efficiency and developing practice.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement employee relations strategies to drive cultural transformation and strategic growth.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to improve management and leadership capabilities.
  • Provide expert advice on employment law and HR best practices.
  • Lead on workforce planning and talent management initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including employees, managers, and external partners.
About Us

Derbyshire Community Health Services NHSFT is a CQC outstanding trust providing community health services to a patient population of over one million people in Derbyshire and Derby. We employ around 4,200 substantive staff, caring for patients in 11 community hospitals and more than 30 health centres, as well as in clinics, GP practices, schools, care homes, and increasingly, in people's own homes and via virtual consultations.

Requirements
  • Post-graduate qualification in Leadership/Human Resource Management/Employment Law or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of NHS employee relations systems and processes.
  • Knowledge of innovative approaches to employee relations management.
