Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Worker to join our team at Llamau Limited. As a key member of our residential care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to young people aged 14 and above, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care and support to young people, promoting their independence and self-esteem.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a safe and supportive living environment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with young people, their families, and external partners to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Record and evidence key work activities, adhering to Llamau and CIW requirements.
  • Contribute to the management of key areas of risk, including health and safety and safeguarding concerns.

Requirements
  • Current or expectation to register with Social Care Wales.
  • QCF level 3 in health and social care (children and young people) or equivalent.
  • Experience working within safeguarding frameworks and understanding the impact of trauma on children and young people.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, work under pressure, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
