About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to drive growth in our subcontract machining and metal finishing divisions. This is a newly created role with immense potential to shape the future of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the expansion of existing accounts and secure new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing tailored solutions.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams on leads, estimates, quotes, proposals, and bids.
Requirements
  • Proven engineering background (apprenticeship, academic, or time-served).
  • Proven experience in engineering/manufacturing/estimating/business development.
  • Familiarity with CNC machining/manufacturing and CAD/engineering drawings.
  • Strong software skills (Microsoft Office, social media).
  • Ability to travel across the UK and occasionally to our manufacturing sites.
