About the Role:

The Mine Economics team at S&P Global is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mine Economics Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for gathering, curating, and analyzing information on mining company and asset performance. This research will provide clients with strategic tools for assessing the health of the global mining industry, reacting to emerging trends, capitalizing on business development opportunities, and benchmarking their activities against their peers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of mining company and asset performance data.
  • Develop and maintain complex models to forecast mining industry trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop strategic recommendations.
  • Present findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a related field, preferably in the mining industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
