As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing macroeconomic and climate-related consultancy projects, including project management, analysis, and presentation of results to clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement macroeconomic and climate-related consultancy projects, including project management, analysis, and presentation of results to clients.
- Conduct quantitative analysis and implement econometric models using software such as Excel, EViews, R, and Python.
- Write research proposals, reports, and presentations, and ensure sound and well-founded economic analyses.
- Plan and structure projects, coordinate the contributions of junior team members, and ensure sufficient time for quality assurance.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Strong academic education with a BA/ BSc in economics.
- Excellent written English and strong communication skills, including the ability to explain economic concepts and quantitative results to non-specialists.
- Substantial experience of quantitative economic analysis and report-writing.
- A postgraduate degree in economics or climate-related discipline is a plus.
- Experience in the management and development of employees, as well as experience with quantitative analysis software, such as Stata, R, or Python.
- Experience using applied macroeconomics models for forecasting and/or scenario analysis.
