We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Modeller to join our global markets' AI and ML team. This role presents a unique opportunity to join a new function within the organization with a focus on building AI/ML models and applications across all asset classes in Global Markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quantitative models and strategies to derive insight into market trends and optimize trading decisions, pricing, and risk management across various financial products and markets.
  • Work closely with sales teams to identify clients' needs and develop customised solutions.
  • Conduct in-depth research, data analysis, and statistical modelling to derive insights into market trends, pricing, and risk dynamics.
  • Provide front office infrastructure support through ownership and maintenance of analytical libraries.
  • Offer expertise on quantitative methodologies, technological advancements, and industry best practices to drive innovation within the trading environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience with machine learning concepts, ML software engineering in Python, statistics, applied mathematics, and data processing.
  • Cloud-based systems experience, such as AWS SageMaker.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
